About the Author
David Veksler is the former Director of Technology at the Foundation for Economic Education. He is an expert in software architecture, marketing automation and applied cryptography. David Veksler is the Managing Partner of Vellum Capital, a Blockchain hedge fund management firm that specializes in crypto-assets such as Bitcoin, and Chief Technology Officer for Royalty Exchange, a marketplace for music royalties.
He has also worked as an information systems architect for companies including Match.com, Education First, and Liberty.me. David spent 5 years in Shanghai, where he created a Bitcoin exchange for the Asia-Pacific market, and CryptAByte, an open-source secure communications platform.
What inspired you to start writing?
As an economics/political science undergraduate, I participated in the Ayn Rand Institute’s Objectivist Academic Center. I’ve spent most of my career running websites rather than writing content for them, but I occasionally chime in when all the servers are running smoothly.
What are your hobbies / interests?
Krav Maga, biking, Instagram photography, and giving talks on Bitcoin and personal finance.
